Sustainability

To a great hotel with excellent structure and a service that seeks
tirelessly for the quality is not enough if we do not have sustainable practices and a concern with the environment.

We are part of the hotel network IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) committed to a great social and environmental responsibility. With these assumptions, we are working hard to achieve the mission of innovation and collaboration to make the Staybridge Suites Sao Paulo Hotel an example in sustainability.

To achieve this objective, some actions are already part of our culture.

BATTERIES

Cells and batteries are dangerous to humans and the environment because it
contains highly toxic chemicals in its composition. When there is proper disposal
of this material, we avoid the contamination of the environment and avoid damage to health. Separate batteries that have no use and deliver to the

In order to maximize operational efficiency and minimize environmental impacts,
the Staybridge Suites obtained initiatives in favor of the environment for
everyone to have a healthier life. Sustainability in business is more than to show
environmental conscience, it is to act with simple and effective measures walking
along with the technological development and population growth.

RECYCLING

On each floor of the building there are trash bins for the separation of recyclable
materials. We work with responsible companies that collect this material and
designed properly, generating new jobs and minimizing the accumulation in
landfills. Collaborate too, in your apartments, separate and take your material to
the collectors.

SAFE DEPOSIT BOX

We return to the coffers of all the condominium in order to reduce their batteryes
use, reducing the consumption.

DISPOSAL OF FLUORESCENT LAMPS
 

94% of fluorescent lamps are discarded in landfills without any treatment,
contaminating the soil and water with heavy metals. The Staybridge Suites
disposes their light correctly so that its contaminants are treated.

OPTIMIZATION OF WASHING OF TOWELS
 

Optimization of washing of towels that could still be used, but were sent to
laundry, considerably reduce the expense of non-renewable resources (water).

ECONOMIC LAMPS

100% of the Staybridge Suites building had its lights changed to reduce the
consumption of energy which resulted in a considerable saving. Always remember
before you leave your apartment, to check if all the lights are off.
